Invites online application for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Lectureship. last date to submit online application is 15/10/2018. CSIR and UGC provide Research Fellowships to bright young men and women for training in methods of research under expert guidance of faculty members/scientists working in University Department/ National Laboratories and Institutions in various fields of Science. Only bonafide Indian citizens are eligible for this test.

Age Limit : 28 years as on 01-07-2018.
Note : upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD)/ female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants.

Stipend : The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs.25,000/ p.m. for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs.20,000/- per fellow will be provided to the University / Institution. The Fellowship will be governed by terms and conditions of CSIR, UGC or Research Scheme, as applicable.

Qualification : The candidate should have passed M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE /BTech /BPharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

Examination Fee : Rs. 1000/- for Gen, Rs. 500/- OBC-Non Creamy Layer and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PwD.
